I am so sorry to hear this...That is what happened with my Dane and it was just horrible to watch her in all that pain.

She is in so much pain right now...panting, breathing hard, stumbling all over the place and falling over. She needs relief and the only thing now is for her to be put down. It isn't until the end do you realize how unconditional a dog's love is and how much you need it.

I'm so sorry.
I just went through this with my Stella over Thanksgiving. She had been doing pretty good too. But then on Wednesday, she was having trouble getting up, stopped eating and wouldn't accept water. Thursday she was no better and hurting. I had some vet meds to keep her comfortable until the vet could come on Friday morning.
It's hard to let them go. Hopefully your girl and Stella are running, jumping and playing together now, free of pain.
