Pens!!!!!!!!

My family has evolved into a hockey family over the past two years as my 12yo daughter took to it. She's head over heels for Sid the Kid (and was really upset when I pointed out his resemblance to Freddie Mercury, especially with the playoff 'stache).

Despite her love for the Pens, she's picked the Bruins to take it all. She and the best man from our wedding actually have a bet and bracket going... So far, she has been spot on!

Pens really tried to give it away last night... Though Columbus is my home state team, and I could have cheered for them in principle if they advanced.

Buckle up baby! Let's go Pens!

We just adopted an American Bulldog about a month ago. His name? Jaromir. Yes, like Jaromir Jagr.

And this family's own hockey season is going well. DD8's inhouse team is undefeated and she made the squirt travel team for the upcoming season. My team is 2-1 and we just beat the undefeated team on Sunday. A lot of guys are going to be missing tonight. Have to skate my ass off and hope I don't oversleep tomorrow morning!

Well since I'm a Coyotes fan, I usually spend the first round mourning the end of the season. This year, as I am no longer shedding tears over pending relocation, I will be rooting for NOT-THE-AVS. Gooooooooooooo Wild!

So, not to be too superstitious, as we know hockey players are among the MOST superstitious of all, BUT...the last time the Flyers vs Rangers in playoffs went to game seven was.....drumroll...

40 years ago!!!! Yes friends, when the first cup came to Philly!

Can I see a Kings/Ducks series please

Its a miracle that is even possible given the first three the Kings played. Should be a scrappy game tonight.

Granted, there was a lot of screaming at the t.v. here at VHQ, but, gotta love those Flyguys anyway. Mason was on fire!!!

And hows this for a sorry frigging thing??? Rooting for the Rangers this round. Just to knock those Pens out. I wanna see whiney little Cindy cry!
