Crescita, it's 25-30 degrees cooler up there than it is in Tucson so when it's 100 here, it's in the low 70s there. It'll be a little bit drier than normal right now because we haven't had much rain this year but it's still beautiful.
Bisbee is awesome. It's also a bit cooler than here and it's beautiful. Make sure you get reservations at Rosa's Little Italy. It's pretty good and really charming.

I've seen only a small portion of the US; even so, I've seen some wonderful places.
I won't identify the place I feel most connected to and most moved by, though I will go as far as saying it's in the vicinity of what I've always known as 'Third Beach at Newport' (actually, Third Beach, Middletown, RI).

I am inspired! We have a week of vkay in July and were wanting to get away, driving no more than 10 hours. VOILA Mackinaw City MI is 8.5 hours! This may just be a winner

I absolutely love Rockport MA. It taught me the difference between looking at the ocean and looking at the sea. That's the only way I can explain it. Great seafood, fantastic history and incredible day trips from there.
I also fell in love with Monterey CA. I spent hours waking the beach and looking for sea glass.

Near home, I would have to say the Current River, and Arcadia MO. Some very very beautiful places in both of these areas.
Far from home? I absolutely love the ocean, and find that when we go to FL end up at Love Key, and Sanibel more often than not.
Out west? I love love love Estes Park CO. And of course forget the Grand Canyon, I much prefer Bryce and Zion. So so pretty.

#4: Lake Tahoe, CA and NV. So beautiful, and lots to do there.
#3: Seattle and The Olympic Peninsula. Breathtakingly beautiful. The beaches are misty and dark, and the rainforest is so vibrant.
#2: New Orleans is somewhere I have been twice, and I could never get enough of. You feel like you're walking through the pages of a novel when you're there - everything's alive and interesting.
#1: San Francisco!!!
Yes, I'm a bit biased because it's my home, but there's so much culture and history here that I never get bored. Every visit is exciting. The neighborhoods all have their own personalities, and it's just so beautiful - the city.... the bay... the bridge... I really leave my heart there every time.

I could add the other parts of the eastern Sierra, which many will never see but I love very much.

Oddly enough, I don't travel much in the contiguous US... I would love to see NYC.
I guess Alaska, specifically Homer. The plains of North Dakota, maybe - you want to be alone? I know where to go.
Hubby and I get claustrophobic in populated areas. I've never been on a subway, driven in rush hour traffic, or been in a taxi.
I'm not really a fan of where I currently live. There are only about 3 good weeks of weather a year.
Bisbee! - was there last year..

I'm another huge Mackinac Island fan! And the UP!! I spent every summer at a camp near Traverse City, and the big treat of the summer was a day trip up to Mackinac Island. And then the oldest campers got a week camping across the UP. Just the best places of all the different parts of the US I've been to.
I'm done here; sick of 2 x 4s

Hmmm so many places!
I love Park City, Utah. So beautiful, so much culture there. Breathing that wonderful, fresh air!
I also absolutely love the upper Michigan shores on Lake Huron, near Port Huron, Michigan where one can sit and wave at the Canadians across the St. Clair River.
I once spent a week at Clearwater, Florida and loved it there too.

When I feel like a tropical type getaway, Key West, Fl and Maui.
If I'm feeling like getting back to nature, Yosemite (in the off season) and Big Sur, Ca
If I feel like just letting go, Las Vegas!!
Too many places and too little time!
