Im so sorry you are here but I'm glad you found SI.

For me, the physical pain stopped when I accepted these three things:

The days get easier as time passes. I can see through the pain now. I couldn't at first, but it did come after many days of forcing myself to put one foot in front of the other.

No matter what kind of spouse I was, I did not deserve this and I had no control over it. I didn't discover it sooner because I trusted him.

My feelings then and now are normal. I am sane. I am a trauma survivor.
