It drives me crazy that it takes 40 min to get DD to take a shower and then an eternity to get her out of the shower. You think I'd be used to it by now.

As long as I'm on this thread, if a school program is advertised as being 2 nights a week, it's not fair to have a third night that's a "recommended", "not mandatory" structured study group with content that we're responsible to know.

I'm rethinking my resolution to see all the old blues artists and rockers I can before they pass on.
Johnny Winter is 68, his voice is going, and needed help on and off the stage. It was kind of a downer.

On the other hand, Samantha Fish, from KC, who opened for Johnny, was amazing. Never expected a leggy 22 year old blonde to sing Howlin' Wolf and Screamin' Jay Hawkins back-to-back. Wicked good guitarist, too.

You tell me 20 times a week that Dad misunderstands or doesn't listen to you.
Mr. Aubrie was very clear on the phone tonight. He told me over and over what was said. Dad misunderstood him. Can you even fathom the thought!?
If he doesn't listen to you, he can sure as heck be guilty of the same thing with others. Don't get pissed at me or Mr. Aubrie because Dad's clueless.

If you have breakfast at 5:30 AM, you're probably gonna be hungry long before your normal 1-2 PM lunch time.
If you take your (prescription) speed at 5:30 AM, your 2nd & last dose of the day is due at 9:30, and you might be less focused than normal at 2 PM.
And nowadays you have to get on the road before 6:40 AM to miss the Chicago rush hour going South on the Edens-Kennedy.

Just saying...I'm too young to be ready to go to bed at 9:30 but since I have one more shift in my 60 work week to do tommorrow and I have already heated up my bean bags to snuggle up to in bed I'm heading there.......
