I know Uni asked for prayers so I hope it is okay to share these two songs. They helped me through the recent loss of a family member. Save a place for me

Thank you all very much for all your support & prayers. I can't write a lot right now but will post more when I can. The outcome was never good for my adult "baby" in the earthly relm but I know your prayers & good thoughts worked a lot of smaller miracles that were greatly needed for all of us to deal with this. She was able to move on with many of the people she loved & her family surrounding her on her last moments here.

Our hearts are shattered but we know she is in a safe, peaceful, protected, untouchable by any wrongs or worries, pain free place now. She is in her permanent home now & as much as we will miss her, we could never guarantee that for here as she has gets to enjoy in heaven.

Our hearts are shattered & devastated at what's happened, but glad she will suffer here no more. It was a horrible accident that was one of those random senseless things that happen out of the clear blue. So please, give someone that matters to you an extra hug, kiss or tell them how they matter, the time available to do so can end very abruptly & without any warning.

Alluring, thank you for the beautiful songs, I hadn't heard those before. We just started to make the funeral arrangements but hopefully I'll get to include one in the service.

(((unicornsearcher&family)))

I am so very sorry for the loss of your DD. I wish I had some magic words to offer that would help to ease your pain. I'm afraid I'm not very good at knowing what to say.

Just know that you have an extended family here at SI who are here for you, whenever you just need someone to listen or a shoulder to cry on.

I will say prayers for your daughter, your family and for you.

Rose Beyond the Wall

by A.L. Frink

A rose once grew

where all could see,

sheltered beside

a garden wall,

And as the days passed

swiftly by,

it spread its branches, straight and tall...

One day, a beam of light

shone through

a crevice that had

opened wide ~

The rose bent gently

toward its warmth

then passed beyond

to the other side

Now, you who deeply

feel its loss,

be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~

its beauty even greater now,

nurtured by

God's own loving care.
