Elephant bell bottoms,bell bottom blues and Woodstock/Kent State/Nixon/Vietnam/Watergate;xlg jaw breakers and sweet tarts, brown cows, sugar daddy's and sugar babies (relax, we're talking candy here kids, and it wasn't laced with date raping drugs); hop scotch and potsies, kick the can, spin the bottle, mad libs, rock 'n roll, Saturday Night Live (1st 15 mins anyway!), Dr. Shoals(?)-precurser to Birckenstocks(!), Levi's (YES, with a big ass comb in John Travolta's back pocket @Newtwood); long, straight hair, preppy, Camaros and Firebirds, The Little Rascals, American Graffiti, Animal House . . . . .

As Carly Simon used to say, Stay Right Here For These Are the Good 'Ole Days!!

Roach clips with the feathers we'd clip to our hair.

Oh, I LOVED those...I had one with blue feathers I totally wore out.

Also, I had yellow and orange shag carpet in my bedroom. With green walls.

I got to pick the colors out myself!

Oh, and I could disco like John Travolta, but honestly, I got most of my moves off of Sooouuuuul Train!
