Do you have a DV advocate? Make sure they are involved. I am baffled at the lack of action on your kids' behalf.

Thinking of you and hoping you get IRL support.

I would consider going to the news or putting it on social media. You'd be surprised how quickly they respond once they have eyes on them.

Sounds to me like this cop didn't want to do the work that would be involved with something like this. Lazy POS.

Can you go to court and get some sort of emergency protection order for your kids? I would be afraid to drop them off with him after you went to police. I would be afraid he would hurt them again to try and get back at you, to punish you.

Oh my gosh. I just read your update and I am so sorry things have turned out this way. How are you and the kids? I'd love to hear some good news but given the way things have been going for you I'm doubtful.

Finding out your ex was run over by a car would be fabulous.
