Just saw the post about dealing with drunk people...

there's been so many throughout my life that I don't drink much at all...don't really like it and kids give me a headache already!

This may sound not nice, but we have a functioning alcoholic neighbor I spin tales at sometimes, because he gossips with the other neighbors. Nothing hurtful, but I tell him when snow/rain is coming and it isn't or things like this.

He mixes up things he is told and repeats them wrong, so I have my lil' fun-I'm totally by the book otherwise and soooo tired of doin' all the rules and the karma bus hits me!

go way, karma bus...vroom vroom.

just sayin,

School bus rule makers,

Why is having a school bus stop, and open then close its doors before a railroad crossing helpful? How does this make the kids onboard any safer? How does it make those of us behind you, who are now stopped in the middle of an intersection, any safer? I don't feel safer. I feel annoyed.

Said by one collegue today about another one:

It's not that she's stupid; it's just that she doesn't know what she's doing.

To be fair, pj, not knowing what you're doing is not (necessarily) the same as being stupid. I find stupidity is usually a choice...

Why do I feel the need to go into work just because I have an audit to finish by the end of the month and this is the last working day of the month... saying "it's just a cold, no reason to stay home." and then spend the entire day wishing I was home in bed?
