Soulmate implies that your soul is incomplete without it's other half. Your soul is not a sock. It's complete unto itself and it's your job to nurture it with loving kindness, philanthropy and spirituality.

Is what I says.

I used to believe in soulmates. I am no longer that naive. And as for love? I am starting not to believe in love anymore either.

edited for typo

I do, she is my sister.

Other then that, nope.

I am remarried to my love partner - we are partners in life and love - we are friends first, each other support systems, etc., blah, blah, blah.

BUT

I would live and survive and thrive without him (sadly).

I would be lost forever without my sister.

See my tagline...

A soulmate is the one who provides the framework for identifying and getting past the crap that keeps us small and imprisoned.

Sometimes the guy who cuts you off in traffic when you're late for a job interview is your soulmate... for 10 seconds.

Sometimes we have a soulmate who challenges us gently... thus we can stay together for a long time, or a life time.

That's just my take on it.

Soulmates... every time I hear or see this word, I visualize the card WH had stashed away to give OW#1.

I used to believe in the word, but that was a long time ago.

Just my opinion.
