My WH also started shaving a few years ago. I really DO NOT like it due to the stubble. I have sensitive skin, and rubbing stubble over any part of my body is as far away from erotic as it is possible to get.

I'm really starting to wonder if things were going on way before I confronted WH. The OW I know about was only for 2 months or so, but he has been shaving for a few years.

It makes me sick just thinking about it.

Stardust, your profile is wonderfully written, as excruciatingly sad & horrific as it is. My H had a gf up to & after our wedding until DDay, so I can understand a bit of what you have gone thru. Luckily, she didn't help me at any time, much less our wedding which is definitely another level of betrayal hell for you. Our OW tried repeatedly to meet me to become my "friend" as a coworker of my H's (which I found out was false years after DDay, sigh).

Your H seems to have decided to endulge himself in repeated lustfests that indicate his is either a sex addict or at very high risk for becoming one. I'd bet on the first option.

I think that in light of his history with you & all the repeated betrayals, he should at a minimum be a lot more sensitive to you especially with something like that when you did not request that of him nor was it his long term habit prior to any betrayals.

It sounds like it may be a lot more challenging for you to get more evidence of his cheating, but you already have all the evidence you need to show he's not inclined to put the same effort into restoring his marriage or helping you heal as he did & does in destroying your union. That is a horrible realization to have to live with & I wish it was different for you...

To the original poster: You asked him 3 weeks ago if he shaves and he lied. Why? Red flags all over that one. Dig deeper, he's not being honest.

while i have always helped wh shave his neck and back. looking back he always had me shave his back before he went off with OW (many times he would go out with OW and her man - serious?! i never thought wh would go so low - they would go at it every time ow's bs turned his back - ow's bs had friend spying)

just triggers me to no end trying to think how wh could ask me to shave his back so he could go off and cheat.

UGGGGG!!!! This struck a cord with me too. While my FWW was PA she went with the "hardwood floor" look. At the time I questioned her about it and she fed me some bullshit line about a pimple!!!! . She was shaving to impress the OM Anyway, RED FLAGS abound here. He should ask you if you like it before he does it that way there would be no question about his motives... Add me to the list. My FWH started shaving during his LTA. He told me that he was doing it for me. I told him that I didn't like it and to stop. He didn't. Just another huge red flag that I missed.

My FWH also trimmed down there for the first time in 20 years. He said it was because he had white hairs. He still swears that. Still swears there was no oral. Now I'm so upset from reading this thread that I feel like I will

I believe in most pa there is always oral, I could be wrong but most men would do just about anything, such as the topic of this thread, to be on the receiving end of that. Most ow will accomadate because they know it will keep the wh's brain from producing much needed brain cells!

Asked my FWH if he ever shaved his balls this morning. He said no, that they itch enough without shaving them.

maybe TMI for some, but here is my man opinion on this:

1) first and foremost. Ball sucking sucks... (pun intended), I don't like it. it has no appeal whatsoever.

2) I manscape, and its recent, I don't shave or anything but do trim. I've been doing progressively more htings through the years and it has always been for my wife. trimming and putting talcum powder is just a "healthy" way, and it might get oral at some point.

My point being that if the trimming is sudden, this SHOULD get your radar going, BUT it could be just a change in habit also. It has been for me. ( and I feel fresher, the sweat and smell are undercontrol).

oh and FYI, I bathe at least once a day and am always clean, its just that it helps with the "funk" of it.

anyway, I've never been too much on the receiving end of oral, its usually 3 min max, and then frustration because I did not get all the way in 3 min...

damn I wish she'd pay more attention to me :D

I feel sick to my stomache. After reading this post it sort of hit me on the side of my head. My WH started shaving about 2 years ago... said that it was to increase sensation????

Shaved balls out of the blue was one of my red flags that X was cheating...just saying...

This was me. Just out of the blue, he started shaving his balls. Told me he "wanted to try something new". I had no idea he was talking about the receptionist at the office.

He was always vain, always took care of his skin. He would have me trim his goatee (sadly, it used to be a sweet, intimate moment for us), and shave the few hairs on his back that he couldn't reach with the razor.

And then he started shaving his chest (he never had tons of hair - I thought his chest was very sexy...I like natural hair on a man) and his balls. He kept it up, during the R's, because he said it felt better that way. Then he started shaving his forearms, to show off the tattoos he'd gotten. I hated it. I wanted the chest hair and arm hair back.

When he was in the hospital on his deathbed, I noticed (and his GF (not an OW) commented) how he'd stopped shaving everything (they were bathing him, and I wouldn't leave the room..I saw him naked for 10 1/2 years, his GF only saw him naked for 6 months). Gave it up only when he got too weak to keep up with it.

While I appreciate manscaping, and a trim pubic area, I really don't like the totally bare look. Just my opinion.

Ok I know this post has veered off into another direction but I personally think that the men do it during their A's because it makes their junk look bigger...

FWH started shaving during his A but it did not hit me (the fact not the penis) until welllll after dday...

He is about 8 inches but when you shave that thing it looks like a mack truck coming at you... I'm sure if she was going to stroke his *ahem* ego he was going to give her some ammo....
