I love my kindle even more now. I can read anywhere without a lamp. I can read in bed while my husband sleeps. This little cover has changed my life.

I got the apple green and it is really pretty!

I've been toying with the idea of getting one, but one of the main reasons I love the Kindle is its slim/light design.

How much bulk/weight do you find the cover adds?

It doesn't add much weight, but it definitely makes it bulkier. I just really love having the light. It makes it so much more convenient.

I have only a protective case for travel and bought a book light from the dollar store (only cost a dollar lol!) Works just fine, but isn't as efficient as the case designed for the cause.

GET THE COVER. GET THE COVER. GET THE COVER.

Mine is the blue one. I bought a red one for Mom. When I bought a Kindle for Mr. T, he used it with no cover for a while then happened to use mine for a short while and asked me if I'd buy him one just like it. He got the red one also.

Having the cover doesn't make it any bulkier than a romance novel, IMO. It actually has given me more to grip, and as a result I'm no longer accidentally paging backward or forward when reading with one hand. I'm also not afraid of dropping it into the bath tub now during Mommy's Happy Bubble Time.

GET

THE

COVER

I have the lighted cover and I love it! The light is angled just right, and when I read in bed while FWH is asleep, I don't have to leave a lamp light on. As a bonus, I use it as a night light to guide to the bathroom for the last nightly visit.

F2S,

What color did you get?

I was really torn. I liked the Hot Pink a lot, but went with the Green.

I love the fact that there is no glare. It is a really good design.

I wish they had these for the Kobo. Or I could find a decent clip on light.

ooh, I must get one!

I always leave the lamp on when LD is sleeping and I stay up to read.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

I didn't see the lighted cover. I recently bought the Kandle by Ozeri. It's really lightweight and clips on.

I am cheap by nature and my wife had to talk me into the cover with the light (black). It is awesome. I love it. I am glad she did. The light DOES seem to eat into the battery power though.

Yes, the light does affect the battery. I also leave my wireless on because I switch back and forth from Kindle to Kindle on my phone and I always want to be in the right place!

I have a regular cover. I bought my dad a Kindle and cover for Father's Day. HIS has the light. OMG - it is SO COOL.

GET THE COVER. Now I want his cover. Good thing he lives 1200 miles away or his cover would turn up missing!

Mommy's Happy Bubble Time.

I have a friend who makes gadget cases (kindles and other e-readers, cell phones, iPads, laptops, etc.) I'm getting ready to place an order from her - only drawback is that I won't have a light.

I saw someone with a hot pink one today and got a little jealous. I love hot pink in the summer.

Maybe I'll have to buy 4. Orange for fall, red for winter. my apple green for spring and hot pink for summer.
