Welcome to our place of peace and healing! We are so sorry to hear about your dear Mastiff. The joy our pets give to us through their total, complete, innocent love, is like nothing else. We will keep you and the goggie (as Ellejay has dubbed, unwittingly the first time) in our thoughts.
Of course we have a train car for serenity, macakipa. The Yoga and Serenity car (FF - please help on this one, can't recall exactly what you dubbed this particular car
) is available any time. FF will let us know from time to time what music is playing at any particular moment. I offer Reiki, and there is always a masseuse on staff.
In the northeast of the US of A, the Jeopardy Car is now open...
okay, here are pics of our animals here in the Land of Guilders...
Mama TJ and Nikki, left, and Nellie (she typically only has the glow eyes when she needs to go out and pooop)
Elfin Nikki and her boyfriend, Guyser:
Bubba Gump, aka Bijou, 18 years of age.
Part-time Goggie, Brockly Wockly (Bijou calls him Bronk
)
We have a liking for posting goggie pics, and nature pics.
Okay, gotta get to Jeopardy. GSG is beating me badly due to my inattention.
Peace.

Howdy everyone and welcome

((macakipa))
Arrived safe and sound after some 14 hours in the skytube. No riots on the horizon so far.
Nice and toasty here as usual, better than the horizontal rain I left in Scotland.
I am sharing the staff house this time with a work pal, so I will have a real person to chat to of an evening.
Makes the trip so much better.
Sending you all healing hugs and a little warmth as well.
Take care

Glad you made it safe IWBH
Welcome to all the new Trainees, I hope you find a platform to leap from on the Peace Train. A platform to make that leap of faith that we must all continue to strive for even though we have experienced recent events that have made us stay stationary or even travel backwards at times. This is what I am striving to achieve this year - a leap of faith that I will continue to love and receive love unconditionally.
Thought for today:
Remember always that you are just a visitor here, a traveler passing through. your stay is but short and the moment of your departure unknown.
None can live without toil and a craft that provides your needs is a blessing indeed. But if you toil without rest, fatigue and weariness will overtake you, and you will be denied the joy that comes from labour's end.
Speak quietly and kindly and be not forward with either opinions or advice. If you talk much, this will make you deaf to what others say, and you should know that there are few so wise that they cannot learn from others.
Be near when help is needed, but far when praise and thanks are being offered.
Take small account of might, wealth and fame, for they soon pass and are forgotten. Instead, nurture love within you and and strive to be a friend to all. Truly, compassion is a balm for many wounds.
Treasure silence when you find it, and while being mindful of your duties, set time aside, to be alone with yourself.
Cast off pretence and self-deception and see yourself as you really are.
Despite all appearances, no one is really evil. They are led astray by ignorance. If you ponder this truth always you will offer more light, rather then blame and condemnation.
You, no less than all beings have Buddha Nature within. Your essential Mind is pure. Therefore, when defilements cause you to stumble and fall, let not remose nor dark foreboding cast you down. Be of good cheer and with this understanding, summon strength and walk on.
Faith is like a lamp and wisdom makes the flame burn bright. Carry this lamp always and in good time the darkness will yield and you will abide in the Light.
Dhammavadaka
Peace brother, sisters and those who are still undecided.

Glad you have safely reached your destination, IWBH.
Ellejay, one word stands out for me in the thought for the day:
compassion
Compassion. Why are only some of us full of compassion? That compassion allows us to be decent human beings.
I will strive today, one day at a time, to behave in a manner that is compassionate. That does not mean I will allow others to infringe upon my dignity, lower my value. That does not mean I will not have to make difficult decisions. It simply allows me to be fair to myself and others. It allows me to observe my gremlin, but keep her at more than an arm's length away from my psyche.
Peace.

TJ:
Compassion is what makes us human, so I agree with your thoughts on this. It is startling though, how many people appear to lack this fundamental human trait. All we can do is recognise those that have none and "compassionately" remove them from our day to day lives.
I am in the "Job Seeking Car" this month. Stbxh has decided that 29th Feb is the day that I will be "terminated" from the business. Putting aside the actual legal ramifications of this for now, it is with the greatest pleasure that I move forward to release yet another link in the chain that still continues to bind me to this man. I embrace this challenge, greater things await me.

Ellejay - good vibes for the job hunting
I think I am in the "bit confused
car" at the moment.
The chap I am sharing the staff house with is a good bloke.
My problem is he is almost the spitting image of WW's boyfriend number 1.
That was an interesting first meeting. Talk about a trigger.
After chatting with him he is ex forces but the same as OP, in fact he has also worked with OP.
as I said, talk about a trigger.
I now have an indirect line to the OP's current boss.
email addresses, telephone numbers, name
I have the potential to cause a little inconvenience in the life of OP and my work buddy who has also gone through a D (for a similar reason) is more than happy to help.
Although I have forgiven myself & WW for the A, I really would like to see him suffer, (just a bit.)
It is "almost" tempting to do something.
Someone remind me that I am moving on and it would be a really stupid thing to do.
It would not help in my healing, I should just forget it and not lower myself to his level.
Peace and "Happy" thoughts

Consider yourself reminded, IWBH.
I need reminding that living with fear keeps one at an inefficient, barely functioning level. Fear is the great paralyser.
Not worth going back, returning to the issue of the past, IWBH. Revenge is destabalizing, despite the fleeting satisfaction.
Peace, please.

You're not wrong there TJ.
Best to just maintain my dignity.
I temporarily forgot the train does do reverse gear and go backwards.

slowly sometimes, but only forwards.

Ewwww, ick!
You are correct, we don't do reverse gear on this train, even though I too have been sorely tempted to mess with OW's world(s). (multiples, too many to count)
Onward only!
TJ, it's the RAVI SHANKAR. I was in it this morning doing asanas as the full moon lingered over a lavender dawn sky.
Beautiful.
Welcome to all new trainees and assorted goggies and furbabies.
We're heading into the light.

I just have to check back in and say "thank heavens for the Ativan Car!"...
Since last posting I encountered a mother of a trigger in something really quite trivial (see my handyman thread down in OffTopic).
My mind can still go off the rails and connect strange dots with things that make little or no sense, but still have the power to send me down the rabbit hole.
Odd, that.
Better now, but I had to resort to my little green friend to stop the weepy fit at work today.

FF:
doing asanas as the full moon lingered over a lavender dawn sky.
That has given me a wonderful image for this evening. Thank you!! You are quite the poet also.
IWBH:
I understand the feeling that revenge must happen or else you cannot find closure. However, you have posted so many positive things and are obviously so high above OP1 that he would need a telescope to find you. Have no fear, this man will get his. In may not be right now but it will happen. Believe me, my stbxh has destroyed so many people apart from his own family, that all I have to do now is sit back and wait for the firework display. You have been badly hurt and you will trigger from time to time, it is to be expected. Just look at what a great job you have done with your daughter and that in itself is worth gold compared to getting revenge on idiot OP1. You are obviously a loving man with so much to give. Be proud of that and let those beneath you fester in their own inadequacies.
Land of Ellejay:
Started the process of getting another job. Met up with my ex Supervisor today and she said I can come back to the organisation as soon as an opportunity arises which won't be for another couple of months but anyway. Also signed on with a couple of agencies to do temp work. Saw a couple of great jobs online today too so I am feeling a lot more positive. Spoke to one of my employees yesterday (well, technically they are Shagalot's employees now but anyway). They told me that they have a suspicion that Sir Shagalot will employ OW2 as soon as I am out of the business. He has no class whatsoever. Funnily enough I am no longer outraged at the thought. She is as classless as he is so let them go forth and be classless together.
Peace to all on the train. Beautiful evening here in Adelaide. I have made a Massuman Curry for dinner tonight. Yum..............
Love to everyone and much peace.

Working thoughts sent your way.....
Later tonight, after we are caught up, it will be Padded Car first to scream and pound a bit.
Then on to the Relaxation Car. Warm woobies, purring cat. Top Chef. Soothing candle scent. End of a very long and trying week. Not going to think about next week, which will be more trying.
Colder than a witch's teat in the northeast. Hazel (grandmother) used to say that.

I also have a six day working week.

In the meditation/chanting car tonight after a very emotional afternoon, having confronted ex mother-in-law about her total inability to accept what stbxh has done and the effect it has had on me and my family. She will never get it but I feel I can move on now having said what I needed to say.
Back to trying to stay positive but it is hard. I am trying very hard to move forward but I have gone backwards a few paces this week. His Lordship has created a monster and has dragged us all into his nightmare. I need lots of Peace vibes this weekend as I am going downhill fast.
I will send some to all of you with the hope that the law of attraction really does work!

Steps backward do happen, even after quite a lot of time. You will move forward, as trains only go forward. At least this one does.
I will post later, after I am on the road.
Peace be with you.
