My Mom told me last night that my Dad was going in for "minor" surgery this morning at 9am. It is now 4pm and no word. Both of their cell phones go directly to vm and I have left two messages at their home with no return call.
I understand that surgeries are delayed, but I am getting a little angry that my Mom hasn't even called to say "oh he is not going in until 2 or it was cancelled or all is ok". Nothing.
I called over to the place where she said his "procedure" was and they said they can't give me any information. So I drove over there and don't see their car - would you go in and ask???
I yell at my Mom (well not really yell, but you know what I mean) about my Mom keeping her cell on. She is notorious for calling from her cell, leaving a message and then turning it off to save the battery 
You would think a day like this she would keep it on.
The waiting is killing me....
Ok now I feel better that I got that off my chest.

He made it through surgery. Thank you for the thoughts and mojo.
He is home, resting.
