Wow, she is special! The two of you together? *love*

I have never been privileged with a dog, always lived in apartments and just couldn't get it together.

My Siamese cats died years ago. The female used to get some very bad habits if I left her alone with him for any length of time.

Suddenly eating off the table was no longer off limits! Go figure!

Glad you have such a wonderful friend.

Awww, thanks for posting the pup pics. It's really amazing how they help us through tough times. There were not a few times, post D-day, when I would look at Lie-Lie and say, "Well, girl. It's you and me and we gotta make this shit work." She follows me into every room. Life is just great with her

As to her name. Another funny story that I had forgotten about. Her rescue name was Raavi. Didn't really care for that...so ex-shat and I were tossing around names for awhile. Ex-shat liked Delilah. I remember saying, "Delilah? As in the whore that seduced Sampson?" Delilah is not a good calling name...so I shortened it to Lie-Lie. Shit. The irony of this is fucking hysterical.

And to those of you who complimented my looks...thank you. But I think when a lady reaches a certain age she figures out exactly what level of light and what angle to turn her head to get the best pic. By the light of day, I doubt you would recognize me

That is one beautiful dog. I have to admit, I would let her sleep with me! Does that make me an ass-hat as well!

I woke up this morning with one of my Corgis a couple inches away from my face with a loving look and thinking - "Lets go romp on the golf course"

She is drop dead gorgeous and the gal in the chair ain't bad also

Here's my Corgis..

The dogs are just gorgeous. I am a big dog person. I have always had a dog and always will. Right now I have a black boxer. He is gorgeous too. (Sorry don't know how to post his pic.) He is my baby and he loves me dearly and is very well trained dog. The other night STBXWH#2 slapped him on the rear, drunk as usual. I came unwound on him. Nobody hits my dog or my children and he know that. I hope one day the dog bites his hand off if he touches him again.

What a great dog. STBX and I also had a dog that passed away just before the A started. It was devastating as we had had him for 8 years (since we got married). He was also a rescue and the sweetest boy ever. I miss him so much, but am glad that he didn't have to live through this divorce. He was so sensitive and I know he would have felt the stress in our house. I hope to have another dog someday when my life is more stable.

I can't not comment on this. Delilah - then shortened to LieLie. That there pup is a gift from a fricking oracle.

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!
