Seriously, I'm the first person to post about it??!! The draft is the beginning of football season - cheering or jeering your team's picks, then all the speculation until training camp starts, then pre-season and then games - I love it all!

Loving the Packers first round pick, Datone Jones. No denying they need defensive help. Can't wait to see who's next.

And to top it all off, Aaron Rodgers inked his big deal. Class act, and he is looking good with short hair and clean shaven. Is there anything better than your team having an awesomely talented quarterback and he's smoking hot as well?!?!?

My heart is with the Bills. I will continue to hope that they will have some luck at QB as they do have some key support and some not so great defenses to play against this year.

Live in Detriot with a Lions fan and all I can say is that they probably will not be beating you in Lambeau anytime soon.

And if the legacy of Matt Millen is not enough?

Ezekiel Ansah saying the Lions will be back for the Superbowl??!?!? Child, please....

Bills country here! And we often say "could be worse... We could be Detroit fans!"

Oh Detroit fans, I feel your pain. Tony Mandarich ring a bell? Painful, painful years.

I tell my H there is something worse than not making the championship game for 50 years.... Losing 4 in a row!!!!! Although the comeback in the AFC championship game was pretty freaking awesome..... Good times, good times!

They did get Barry Sanders for awhile and he was pretty fantastic to watch... Now Calvin Johnson....

If only half the team wasn't being arrested every 5 mins...

Back to topic. The pundits say this is the worst draft in 10 years... Do yo agree?

Or is it because there aren't any super hyped QBs?

My guess is they say that because there is no star power - no big time QB, running back, receiver or defensive player. Really though, you never know how good a draft is until after the fact, when they get on the field in the next couple of years. I like the draft even without the star power - all the players and their families are so darn happy and proud. It just makes me so happy to see them realizing the results of all their hard work. Sometimes it makes me cry happy tears.

I have to share my own personal squee even though I don't really care for football.

My DS22 and my DD20 went to high school with one of the draftees

He is a good boy and I wish him well!

He is also from DS's college and my hometown team drafted him!

Loving the Niners! Always faithful

I'm not sure when they get to pick, though. Colin Kaepernick is an awesome quarterback! I wonder who will be his back-up.

I'll be interested to see how Alex Smith plays for Kansas City (I think that's his new team).

And yes, Green Bay is lucky to have Aaron Rodgers

I agree. No one is drawing the spotlight.

Tight End seems to be a spotlight position in the newly more protected NFL Offense.

Wondering if that position will start being super expensive...

Anyone have any sleeper predicitions?
