Love, love, love banjo music. Good for you. I had a friend put a curse on mine and sewed into EX's mattress. The curse was that he would never find contentment in the house we had just finished building as our retirement home. Funny enough, just found out that he is selling that house and moving so maybe it worked hey

Okay, gardenparty, you TOTALLY win! A curse in his mattress? Cursing STBX's future love life would be worth waiting a little longer on getting my banjo.

Divorced the cheater and living my best life now.

Sold mine - got less than a quarter of what it cost, but I didn't care. Bought shoes. That's what it came to - a pair of shoes!

Got the banjo in time for my weekly jam session last night. It definitely sounds better than the ring.

Mine is sitting in a box in a drawer. I haven't decided what to do with it yet. It wasn't very expensive to begin with, so I wouldn't expect to get much...and it's pretty. I'm in no rush to get rid of it, although I've had no desire to take it out of the drawer in 7 years, either.

Awesome! So happy for you

I lost mine YEARS ago in a Walmart parking lot, should have been a sign I guess. I would just buy cheap ones here and there to wear out of the house. But if Walmart ever calls, I'm going with gardenparty's idea

I smashed my exh's comfort fit gold band with a hammer, then sold it as scrap for $23 (gold wasn't worth much at the time). My little solitaire I had reset into a plain ring for my right hand. I only attributed any importance to the ring that was blessed in the church, the wedding band. Not sure where mine went.

Lastly, I have a tungsten wedding band I got him for our fake reconcilliation, which isn't worth anything. It's in my jewelry box in case my son wants it.

Good score on the banjo!
