What Songs Inspire You?

There is a great Faith Hill song, I think it's called Stronger, but it's not the same as the version by Sara Evans or Kelly Clarkson.

Dog Days are Over, Florence & The Machine

Stay Gone, Jimmy Wayne

Oldies: Back on my feet again, The Babys

Silver, Gold, and Blue--Bad Company

Blame It On Your Heart--Patty Loveless

Go Your Own Way, Fleetwood Mac

13 years later...finally healed. Definitely survived and thrived and you can, too.

Brand New Me - Alicia Keyes - keep playing that over and over again.

Also, don't remember the artist - but look up on Youtube - The Dickhead song. Cracks me up and feeds my desire for paybacks!!!

Thank you all for your suggestions - I need to look these all up!

How about a little George Strait; She Let Herself Go! Playing that one over and over again!

I love all the songs everyone is posting; it's good to have inspiring songs for everyone to find and start listening to. Sometimes music helps lift our spirits, at least for a little while!

Thanks for all the responses. It's great

Don't Stop by Fleetwood Mac.

I remember listening to it when I was still in high school, and distraught over my life. Somehow that song empowered me to realize one day I would move away from there and have a better life.

Of course my life has been filled with ups and downs since then but during the down times, I still often think of or listen to that song. It really helps me to be a more optimistic, positive person!

Look on YouTube for "Pray for You" by Jaron and the long road to love.

I promise, you will love it! It's a perfect FU song.

I still can't listen to Alanis Morrissette's Jagged Little Pill album though. Her songs are soooooo on the money.

Oh, HELL yeah MyTurnATL. I thought I might be the only one who knew that one. I listened to that on a loop about a year ago. Perfect.

I made a divorce playlist I use when I need to vent or when I'm running. I apologize to any ladies here that may find some of these misogynistic, but they help in context:

Stockholm Syndrome - Muse

Waiting on a Friend - The Rolling Stones
