Anyone else use this?
Any bad side effects?
I noticed on the box that it effects serotonin - and after my dealings with paxil I don't even think I wanna mess with that stuff.

My doctor recommended it as a natural way to help with hot flashes due to menopause and I didn't notice any bad side effects but it also didn't help.
May I ask what are you taking it for?

It's a supplement therefore it is not watched by the FDA. The active ingredient in it is black cohosh which does help with menopausal symptoms. We in the medical field are unsure if it will encourage uterine and breast cancer like estrogen does.

I used it for a while several years ago. It did help with the hot flashes some. But, when the hot flashes started subsiding, I stopped.
I had no side effects either.

I was planning to use it for perimenopause symptoms... mostly irritability and moodiness.

A little funny story about Estroven. I was talking to WS about how my friend was on some kind of vitamin type of supplement that was on Dr. OZ about losing weight. I said that I would look into it before I started on something like that but that I would like to lose weight.
So WS said, He had heard on the radio about something that helps women to lose weight after 55. He couldn't remember what it was but just that he heard it on the radio.
So a few weeks later he comes home with Estroven. Gives it to me as a present. So I read about it and basically it is for memopause. Hot flashes, moody, etc. Yes, also weight but all that other stuff.
Well of couse I was pissed. He never buys me anything and he comes home with Hot Flash moody medicine.
I flipped out. Take this shit back why would you give me a gift for that I am not moody!
Well I guess you would just think so after that complete melt down.
But I am not Moody 
HaHa
Note to men don't run out and get your wife pills for moodiness and hot flashes.
Just saying!!!
