I'll spill the beans in a few days, but for now a little good luck would be very welcome.

And no, it's nothing to do with dating (still staying away from that).

Well, bummer. XW and I put the marital home on the market this spring, as was stipulated by the divorce settlement. I've been eager to finally get my share of the equity in the home.

Well, in this hot sellers market, the house just languished. We finally got an offer, but they backed out for no good reason after the inspection (the inspection didn't reveal anything major, but in this state you can always back out).

So, what to do. Maybe take the house off the market, because it's getting stale.

Sigh.

Your agent should follow up with them and find out exactly why they backed out. They were willing to incur the cost of the inspection.
