MMmmmmmmm....the Crack.....

My DD and I are now Crack addicted. And since there were some no-shows last night, there was extra crack to go round.

Wounded - your DD's trepidation at trying the crack, followed rapidly by her decent into addiction, was a joy to witness. Another crackfan is born.

@jj

eta: Yes, that was pretty funny, NIK. She's a true addict now. I may have to sweet talk Jpapa for the recipe.

Wounded has the majority of the photos to come (no pressure, honey) but I managed a few before my battery died.

Enjoy.

I got to hang out with and dine with the Empress. I got to have dinner with Clicky. I got to chase pigeons with Mistress Brazz. I got to hang with the quiet one (Jrazz) and the talkative one (Crazz). I got to walk an extra three miles to the Tea Garden because I found an open parking space but was too stubborn to ask for directions. I got to share fortune cookies with young Master Silverhopes and managed to not completely offend Silverhopes (hopefully). I got to meet WB2 and her pretty cool DS. I got to avoid WB’s attempts at violating my personal space. I got to physically abuse the Banana Bunch. I got to meet and talk to Leapyearbaby and her (future Crack making) DGD. I got to have house made cotto and housemade buratta alla panna. I got to have a small bit of ice cream at Ghiradelli’s. I got to make new Crack addicts out of a few people. I got to show the Empress, WB2 and her DD around the most bestest institution of higher learning in the world. Most importantly, I got Mistress Brazz to proudly proclaim, “Go Bears.”

Wounded - your DD's trepidation at trying the crack, followed rapidly by her decent into addiction, was a joy to witness.

Ditto.

The shrimp. I died a little with each bite.

(...and I died a little everytime the Empress and WB took a bite and foisted that stinky smell anywhere near me. )

This, my SI friends, was truly one awesome G2G. If anyone out there ever wonders if they should take a chance and go to a G2G, JUST DO IT. You will enjoy every minute.

With all due respect My Lady and with no implied impudence,

I got to chase pigeons with Mistress Brazz.

Pigeon "whacking" has violent overtones and suggests intentional malevolence rather than harmless merriment gone awry.

Note to all concerned: No pigeons were harmed in the making of this G2G.

DD and I finally stumbled back to our hotel room. We had another full day of sight-seeing, and I have a nickel-sized blister on the bottom of my foot to prove it! Ouch.

Jpapa took us on a walking tour of Berkeley where we were promptly greeted by a street person who called us rich, white trash crackers. Welcome to Berkeley!

We enjoyed the eclectic street vendors with their tie-dyes, knitted beanies, incense, and candles. My DD even got a cool henna tattoo. Jpapa and I had to explain to her what the weird odor was that she kept smelling. Patchouli. LOL.

The Berkeley campus is beautiful, and a trip up to the top of the clock tower provided us with an amazing view of the Bay Area.

We had more good eats, of course. And lots more laughs. Thanks for the great day, Jpapa!

After saying our goodbyes to Jpapa, my DD and I took the BART back to San Francisco for a ride on the cable cars. It was great fun, but it was freezing cold!

What an awesome time we had in San Francisco. I'm sad to have to leave tomorrow.

Pigeon-whacking?! Who would do such a thing and how did we miss it? Vrazz is super cute!!!! Lil Silver loved meeting her yesterday, especially when they were walking along looking at the big fish.

No, you didn't offend me, Jpapa. But you miiiiight have gotten my son even more addicted to cotton candy! Something every kid should enjoy!

Beautiful photos, Empress NIK. It was wonderful seeing everyone yesterday and meeting some awesome folks!
