NIK is working on posting some pics, but while she does, I wanted to share my two favorite NIK quotes from this evening:

We have very few things in Iowa that can kill you that aren't large. Like if a cow fell on you, it might crush you.

What the heck is that thing? Oh, it's the moon.

In NIK's defense.....that moon did look kinda *odd*. The moon is supposed to be up IN the sky. Like over-head. NOT at eye-level shining out from between skyscrapers.

Maybe the tall buildings disoriented our rural friend.... The moon has to look different when viewed through skyscrapers than over hogs, cows, and corn....

Ama, Thanks very much for setting this up. I had a great time. W had a great time. We'll probably even go back to the restaurant, though it won't be the same without you, NIK, and gonna.

And, when the pics arrive, let me report that W says her dish (lemon chicken with angel hair pasta) was fantastic! (But any place would be good with the company.)

(Note: to Iowa chauvinists: I'm only pretending not to know that there are cities in Iowa....)
