I was cutting potatoes to boil for potato salad... the knife slipped on the potato and went straight into my thumb.

Blood everywhere!

I didn't even notice until later that the tip of the knife had nicked my forefinger.

This potato salad better be good.

Glad it wasn't a bad knife wound!!! Be careful.

Of course I'm not one to say much. Me and heating elements on/in stoves just don't get along well.

Should I be worried that it hasn't really stopped bleeding yet?

I've changed the band-aid several times.

How deep is the cut?

I would be concerned if it hasn't stopped or keeps opening up. Not sure if it would be stitched now that it's been a day though.

Sounds like you need stitches.

And stop blameshifting on the knife
