I recently leased a new car. It's a new model of the one I traded in. I just decided I no longer wanted to drive a car for 100,000 miles, I want to always have a car in warranty, etc. I got a pretty good deal, money back, my traded car had only 19,000 miles, 3 years old and my lease payment is less than the car payment.
Anyway, it's a hard-top convertible, looks like a transformer opening and closing-a LOT of moving parts=a LOT of potential for things to go wrong. I never had a problem and the car gets excellent reliability ratings.
So, I go to the dealer for my 2 week check and I see my old car in a bay. Apparently, the roof stopped working-2 DAYS AFTER THE WARRANTY RAN OUT!
Makes me look like I had a crystal ball...or very good luck.
