He came home, crowed a bunch, then collapsed on the couch asleep. He's taking Monday off work too to deal with the phone followups. We're very encouraged. He says he skinned the interviews and nailed them to a tree.

UPDATE:
Mr. T spoke with the hiring manager today. They are reclassifying the job to a higher pay grade than it originally was to make sure this is, at the very least, a financially lateral move for him. The difference in things like retirement, etc., will be offset by this.
The offer is expected mid-week next week.
