I laid down for a nap at about 4:45. At 5:40 he tiptoed in, and I asked what time it was. When he told me, I said, "Oh. I got about an hour."
He said, "You know what I got?"
Well, no. I've been asleep. "Chocolate?"
"A job."
I've been crying for a little while now and everything's better. It turns out this isn't financially lateral because there's an annual bonus we didn't know about and a few other things. This is much, much better. That was good for at least 5 minutes of tears right there.
