She's really fighting this whole NC thing. She sent WH pictures of a bloody knife and said she was ending it. He was freaking out. I told him to call the police in her city and explain the situation and they'd go check. I was fairly confident that she was just pulling a stunt (she threatened suicide every time they argued) but WH was convinced she had done it. Lo and behold, police call and she is fine. OMG does it never end. I hope she gets the psychological help that she so desperately needs. Jesus, we had been having a nice day before that as well...

She sent it by text message. He now sees why he needs to change his phone number and will be doing so tomorrow.

Good. NC NC NC!!! She's toxic and a liar amongst other things. If she decides one day to actually go through with it, that's on HER. Not on the two of you.

Good that he is getting new number. If it were me, I'd text her back and say, "Good, go for it. The world will be a better place without you in it" I seriously would. I know that is horrible to admit but I see red when I think of OW.

fWH's OW also threatened suicide, frequently. After the NC letter, she had her mother contact WH and beg him to go see her or there was "no telling what she (OW) would do".
Complete NC with OW and blocked everything (including her mother and her coworkers, who she also enlisted to harass WH) worked. OW gave up in three weeks.
IMO, woman don't commit suicide because their affair with a married man ended. They threaten to do it because they are mentally ill, and that's OW's problem to solve.

My DD's dad's OW flipped out about NC as well.
I saved EVERYTHING and used it to my advantage. I didn't bat an eyelash as I pressed charges for harassment, and got a restraining order. Having that protection means the world to me and my daughter. Even though DD's dad and I broke up, he STILL cannot bring that woman around our child during his visitation.
Sending pics of a bloody knife? Call the cops, tell them that you feel threatened and you are afraid for your life and hers. This is actual proof of mental instibility, and I would definitely use it to protect yourself and your children.
I have been cheated on by 3 different men, and I have more DDays than anyone ever should. I am here, just trying to pickup the pieces.

Slight t/j
OC, I had an ex always crying wolf to get me to stay. He was an abusive manipulator. First couple threats I took seriously, later I got to the point where I was so tired of his shit I actually told him, " well shit go ahead and do it then! Make sure you do it right though cause I don't wanna hear about it! Make sure you cut up, not across (I was motioning with my hand and arm) and use warm water to draw out the blood faster!"
He just looked me stupid. He didn't kill himself and he's still alive. Its just a form of attention and control. This woman is playing high-school hi-jinks. Take it from someone who HAS been suicidal on more than one occasion. When you're serious, you're only thinking of you. How and where to do it. You leave little hints for months or weeks but rarely come out and say it out of fear. You want things in order and done a certain way before you go and you still don't want to have to be a burden, to put anyone out even after you're gone. That's why people tend to clean up around them or take off their glasses, women put on make-up. Its a chance to get a say in things. A last say and you don't want the world to see the aweful of you on the inside so you clean up the outside and preen and prep. Make amends, write a letter, that's why its such a shock to others. "He/she seemed to calm and okay with everything." Thats because they were giving their last goodbyes and making amends, unbeknownst to anyone else. I'm not trying to write a how-to here or anything, just talking from experience.
Yes, homicides and suicides occur together. I don't think this woman has that much forethought. Its pure attention driven. Everytime they submit to her antics, she wins. End t/j

Personally, she'd be doing married women of the world a favor. But I agree with the concensus of a restraining order in the meantime.
Uhgggg can't believe OW like this breathe the same oxygen.
edited for spelling error.
