Anyone from the Pittsburgh area is aware that the Pirates have made the playoffs for the first time in a coon's age.
We have season tickets at work, and the owner (my boss) asked me if I wanted tickets to Sunday and/or Monday's game next week.
My anniversary is on Monday, and I used to spend that day in mourning for what I thought I had, but lost.
After he offered me the tickets, I realized that it would be on my anniversary, but my first thought was "awesome way to celebrate my newfound life!".
Progress.....definitely progress.

At work the other day, my manager mentioned he was friends with Kevin Orie so we were talking Pirates baseball and of course I thought about you! Maybe it was a premonition??
Happy for you!

I was so happy for the people of the city on Tuesday night. We needed this, and the city really was beautiful on TV - I don't think anyone realizes how nice it is here at this time of year.
Talk to me in January, and I won't be so enamored.

My D day was opening day of the regular season. Just starting to care about baseball again when my Rangers are eliminated. So, if the Rangers aren't in it, I cheer for those Pirates. GO BUCKs.

Awesome, try to enjoy the game, even though you are playing the best team around. (As I sit in my office with my Cardinals Jersy on, and my evening planned).
