I have been taking Wellbutrin sr 300 mg (150 every 12 hours) but didn't really like it much, so my Dr. switched me to Celexa 20 mg. After taking Celexa for about 7 days I felt AMAZING! Like I had not felt in years!! So I thought it was the Celexa, but then after a couple of weeks-I feel no different and as they say in Finding Nemo "Good feeling's gone" So, I have been researching the internet and I think what happened was that I still had a little Wellbutrin in my system and maybe the combo of both is what really made me feel better! I spoke to my Dr and she said that it is a common combo and works for some people. So just wondering if anybody else has tried it?

I've had several people on that combo. It hits two different neurotransmitters in the brain.

Not personally but do see it used for patients fairly often. Most often in the Mens who have complaints of quality erections from Celexa, and low drive. Wellbutrin helps bump that up (catch what I did there).

It is not contraindicated, and many people find better results with a combination of meds.

Give it a whirl, see how ya feel.

My H is on Wellbutrin and something! LOL But I do know that Wellbutrin is often paired with other AD's. Talk to your dr and give it a try!

Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.
