Anyone familiar with the area and can recommend a spot where one of my kids should look for a rental place (condo or house)? I'm at a complete loss. Thanks!

I live in Virginia and have been to Virginia Beach when I was younger, but its been a while. I wish that I knew some places off hand, but I found a decent website for you! I usually go to Myrtle Beach in SC! 
Although the boardwalk at Virginia Beach is nice and a highlight IMO!

She11ybeanz, thanks for the website; gonna take a look in just a minute.
cmego and Issaquah, my son is 23 and he and his fiancee will need to find a rental condo/house for the next 2.5 years. He'd like to find someplace that's not too far from Oceana Naval Air Station, but is most focused on locating in an area that's safe for his fiancee because she'll be on her own for some of the time. They're young, so I'm sure a little nightlife won't be a bad thing, but is not a top priority. Safety and nearby jogging paths or outdoor activity areas are probably higher on their list. He's also hoping to keep it affordable (not over $1300 a month). Gee, if you guys can find all that, maybe I should move too! Many thanks. Lostworld

I'd vote for the GreatBridge area, I had several friends that lived there, very family friendly...not too far away!
