Yesterday I noticed that I was sitting slumped over and was constantly rubbing my head. Not my normal sitting posture or behavior.
I sat back and took a look at all of the 'to-do' lists on my desk and realized that, once again, I'm overextending myself.
- I start my new job on Monday, so I need to pack up my current office, however I do not have a new office to move into yet, so I will literally be working out of boxes.
- scheduling trick-or-treating for my DD who is still afraid of the dark, which means juggling my time at work and my commute as well as connecting with a 'buddy' for her.
- setting up my DD's soccer team's tournament refreshment needs (yep...I'm a soccer mom)
- finalizing plans and menu for my fWH's and my first ever adult Halloween costume party, also on Saturday. 50 people that need to be fed, entertained and hydrated.
- budgeting time to carve 8 more pumpkins for Halloween and said party.
- planning my DD's annual end of soccer season soiree (at least this time it isn't at my house) for next weekend.
- planning my DD's 8th birthday party at the end of November.
All this on top of just getting over acute bronchitis. Can somebody please slap me up side the head?
Please?
