I had a nice conversation about pastries, etc.

It felt good to have a possible Friendship in my Moving Forward.

He was engaging, humorous, and easy on the eyes despite being nearly 8 years older.

We exchanged phone numbers and I had a good 2 hour chat w/ him today. No more online dating stuff for me ------> E ver.

The conversation was lively and honest. To the point that we can only be friends, nothing more, nor am I seeking out a new H.

Just imagine...while looking at pastries.

My D will be final in 3 weeks....relief!

Pastries, ETCETERA?

Look at those buns, hun

See how they sugar and shine,

I'd like to take a lick oops look at that,

if they were only mine...

A swirling earlysweet drizzle,

so soft and warm on my tongue,

and doughysoft oft on mind's palate,

the hell! Pasties make me feel young!

A squeeze for your cakes of the roundmound,

slurp sounds coming close to your ear,

donut think I think this way public too much,

it cakes all kinds of crazy I fear.

We knead to get out more happy,

fruitfilling some fresh nutty dreams,

when warm from the oven a heartfeels,

the scents so pleasing mind beams!

jj...you are quite the naughty lil poet!

yes, and prior to the pastries, I had a short chat with another gent in the meat dept over cooking pork roast!

When we verbally traded recipes and methods...he slow cooked his w/ a pkt of "seasoning" while I roast mine after studding it with sliced fresh garlic cloves & Italian herbs, etc and et al...he told me:

"Why you are ruining it"!!!

Well, I knew right then and there that he was not gonna be any **New Friend** of mine!

Live and learn...

Sorry about the smilie emoticon screwing up in my first post.

Hmmm...maybe I should go wander around some computer shops?

Techs are just so very...interesting!

Oh my, jjct!!!! Hysterical - you are quite the poet!

I think you got a little carried away and let your true intentions be known when you substituted "pasties" for "pastries," though.

And, since "pasties make me feel young," will you soon be posting pictures of yourself in pasties?!
