I'm frustrated being stuck on this A rollercoaster, but I also have a lot to be grateful for. Stealing from the 3 things thread in D/S:

Our 4 kids were all home for the weekend. It's amazing to be reminded what fabulous people they've all become, and incredible to see how his and hers became ours. They get pissy when someone puts "step" in from of "brother" or "sister" and consider themselves a true family in every sense.

WH is working on a new project that he's really enjoying. It's nice to see the excitement and validation coming from within rather than him seeking APs to fill the void.

After a few rainy and very grey days, the sun is out today. The warmth of the sunshine on my face gives me hope that better days will come.

What are you grateful for today?

Mondays are a good day to be thankful, cuz they otherwise kinda stink

I am grateful for our new granddaughter. She is two weeks old tomorrow

I am always thankful for my job. So many people still struggle financially.

I look to the skies and say thanks constantly for my life. My husband, our family the chance to R and grow together.

I think my life has become one of gratefulness. I recognize how blessed I am now and how easily things can change.

Thanks for the thread....even when things seem to be at the lowest point there are always things we should say thanks for.

Oh! This is so nice!

Okay- here goes:

I am grateful that both of my kids leave the house and come home with smiles on their faces when they talk about their days. Middle SChool is such a tough stage and both of them have really seemed to find their niche this year (him- soccer, her-creative arts/writing). so proud!

I am grateful that my fWH has found some motivation and hope and is now beginning projects around the house that we have been talking about for a while now. My new bathroom and work out room will be finished shortly! Guess which one will get used more....

I am grateful for this beautiful day in November where I can wear my super cute shirt and slacks, with my super cute open toed shoes and drive with the moon roof open.

I love finding a little happy in all of this, thanks friends!

I should have started with: I am grateful for SI. The care and concern of so many strangers has literally saved my sanity and likely my marriage. Without all of you I'd never have had the courage to stay and try to work through this mess.

When my father was dying ten years ago, I was having a really hard time. The rest of my family was being useless. I was standing by a window and the sun was on my face and I thought, OK, I have this moment, the sun on my face. It began a continuing effort to be grateful in times of great stress.

thanks for the reminder!
