Guess today is my posting day.
I am in CA. Had settlement meeting 4 months ago. I have handwritten agreement. STBXH lawyer should be doing the official paperwork.
Am I correct in thinking the document is typed up. Passed along to both parties to sign, then sent into the court for it to be filed and official?
I have not gotten anything yet? And a couple of months ago at modification hearing I heard STBXH lawyer tell him (when he yelled when is this going to be done/over with) that it can take months to get stuff back from the courts because of backlog. But shouldn't I have gotten something typed up to sign before it went to the courts for filing?

Our jurisdiction has a website where you can look up filed documents. Does yours have something similar or can you call his lawyer to ask about it?

Im not sure you will get anything. you may have to call them to pay for copies or request thru the courts. I didnt get anything when I did my last D prose. so if I want anything, I have to go into court and pay $1.50 per page
when you use a lawyer, you should get everything promptly
