Okay, I admit that this post is fairly useless without pictures. I have tried really hard to get a picture of this but have been unsuccessful thus far.

There is a house up the road from me with multiple inflatable monstrosities in their front yard. They actually have a rotating assortment based on the calendar. Picture giant inflatable Easter Bunnies, eggs, flags for July 4th, Halloween stuff, turkey/etc...

Anyway, they have a stunning display of tackiness right now. But the best (worst??) one is definitely this thing that looks like a giant flaming penis/testicles. Once I was able to get a good look at it, it's some sort of carousel thing that rotates. But the carousel part is very small in comparison to the rest of it. And all you see is the base and upright "post". Which is bright red and has a point at the top.

Seriously, who puts this stuff in their yard and doesn't look at it from the edge of the road?

I seriously get the giggles every time I drive by.

HF, you paint such a pretty picture even without the photo.

I live in a college town. Tacky is de rigueur.

There are at least two student filled houses that have a giant inflatable Santa on the roof with a "stream" of yellow lights leading from it's crotch to a puddle of lights on the ground.

Ah, peeing Santa. Where would undergrad holiday spirit be without you?
