So, I ordered two pair of pants on line. I was EXTRA careful when selecting my size and making sure I also checked the box for long. For this particular vendor a long means 36. (In reality is will be a bit too long, but the medium length is too short, nothing I can't fix) So the pants show up and the darn things have an inseam of 32. I check the label and sure enough they are labeled as longs.I grab the other pair try them on and same thing. What the hell??? It's not even like they were the same color and the one batch could have gotten jacked up or something.
I've bought these pants in store before with no issue, but the longs are hard to find in store, so I had no recourse but to go on line.
So crap, now I have to repackage them, go down to the post office and send them back. This part isn't that bad. What pisses me off is the fact that this vendor has no clue.
I just want to bitch, so let me bitch here,.... bitch, bitch, bitch,........
Anyone else experience something like this?

Is there a branch of the store near you? Often you can return online purchases in store. I'd probably call ahead and ask them to order in the correct length so you can just exchange them.

I hate ordering clothing on-line because of this. I get why you did it though and I've been in that position too.
I would also return them to the store instead of sending them back through the mail (if it is convenient for you).
But vent away!!! You have cause for a vent

I had a friend who used to work in the garment industry in LA. He said that when his factory was fulfilling orders (so 25 S, 30 M, 45 L etc) that as they were labeling sizes if they were out of L's they'd put L labels in the Ms so they could meet the order.
That was when I learned that you always have to try on. Even if you always buy size 12 at Banana Republic, you need to put it on first before you take the tags off just in case...
That's what happened here.

Oh I hear you! I hate when the colour is very different to the colour on their websites too.
