Reminds me of the grandson in "Princess Bride."

By the way- did you all know Caligula was a porno???

Nope - never heard of it.

That says a lot since I had an 'unconventional' upbringing complete with a supply of Cosmo and Playgirl magazines in our main bathroom when I was about 10.

My older cousin says she remembers watching racier movie on TV and me asking my mom all the words I did not understand and my mom would explain them to me.

(How racy could the movie really been though....it was a time before HBO and VCRs)

This thread is leaving me with a desire to watch the movie Porky's The raciest movie of my tweens! Me and my mom stood in line to get in!

This just reminded me of another funny story.

My parents came to Germany to visit me and XWH when we were stationed there. We were watching a movie one night (can't even remember which movie it was) and there was a scene where the female lead was starting to fall in love and you could see little changes. As some sappy music played, she went and bought new clothes and started wearing makeup and styling her hair. XWH said "When the woman starts putting on makeup and styling her hair, you know you've got her." Totally forgetting my parents were sitting there, I said, "Nah, when the woman goes out and buys all new underwear, you REALLY know you've got her."

My parents were all

I was in highschool, in the 80's. I remember we had a cable box in the living room, and discovered if you very. carefully. moved the dial between "channels" you could pick up "other channels". Anyone remember that??

So, I had gone out with friends and came home around 11pm. I walked into the house, my Dad was asleep on the sofa, and there…on the tv…was the Playboy channel.

I just reached over, switch the dial to another channel, turned off the TV and went to bed. I'm sure he thought he would hear me pull up, be able to change the channel and look all innocent.

I never said a word to him, but I still laugh about it 25 years later.
