yes, a child's size 4 is 22.2 cm and a women's size 5.5 is also 22.2 cm. this will probably very between designers, manufacturers, etc. but it's a good starting point.

Also FYI, I always see these smaller sizes on clearance because there are very few people who can wear them. So you should be able to find some great bargains on some nice shoes and boots.

That's it...I have come to a decision...
I'm going to wait a few weeks, get our tax return, go kidnap Aubrie and we're going shopping...

Check out the Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) website and go to their clearance tab on women's shoes and boots. They have some super cute things at some really good prices.

Seriously, though, love looking at all these boots. After such a long time of not getting anything new for myself, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. Well, kinda...I haven't actually BOUGHT anything yet...so, probably more like a kid excited that Christmas is near...
WH informed me last night that I have to wait to actually buy anything until we get our tax return. Sucks, cause I was so going to buy the purple ones. My luck...I won't be able to find them when I'm "allowed" to buy them...
Grrr...really irritated with WH right now...but that's a completely different issue. Sucks that I'm backing down when it's not even a legit money issue. But so not worth defying him right now. 
Sorry...didn't mean to go off on a tangent like that...
Back to boots:
MrsDoubtfire - over the knee boots would be killer! But at 4'9", I don't know that they would work very well for me.
