So, yesterday while I was at the outdoor band party with my friends, I met a guy who was a friend of my friends....we seemed to hit it off immediately.... making each other laugh the whole time. There seemed to be a connection there. He looked to be late 20's....early 30's.... but younger than me for sure...
I found out at the end of the night that he was 24.... OMG....like a decade younger than me! On the flip side of the coin, one of my friends other friends was also hitting on me....and he and my dad could have gone to school together...(YUCK).
At 10pm....I had to pull a Cinderella and run for my car to go pick up my daughter on time....but I took a HUGE gamble....despite the age difference. I thought....I may never see this guy ever again....so this is my one chance. I left a napkin with a girlfriend to give to him...with my number on it. I don't expect him to call.... but at least I can say I have no regrets. I know deep down the age difference probably would not work....but I hadn't had that much fun with the opposite sex in a long time. It was fun to flirt and just cut loose with a guy I was attracted to.
I had a "Now or never YOLO" moment... it was spontaneous and goes against all that is natural for me usually.....but it felt AWESOME....
Even if he doesn't call.... I have no regrets!
It was a good night!

Good for you, o brave one! If you hear from him, how exciting. If not, you are still brave.

It was kinda scary to take the leap.... I will be honest....he hasn't called...but its probably for the best. The odds of things working with me and a guy that is 11 years YOUNGER than me.....are slim to none. So....I will take it as a "most likely" bullet dodged. However, the "window of time that a guy lets lapse before calling a girl to not appear desperate" game still hasn't passed yet.....so it may still happen. Either way.... I'm still proud of myself for giving it a shot. No regrets!!!! I never thought I would EVER say this...but YOLO!

He's gonna call.
He is simply delayed because he is still busy counting his lucky stars.
