I just called out of work. I feel terrible. Non stop headaches for 3 days. I have a pain and when I breathe in right under my ribcage of the right hand side. Shortness of breath this morning. I slept for 9 hours and woke up feeling like I had slept nothing. And then the bleeding. Heavy clots all day since this morning. I've had to change 4 times so far in 5 hours. I want to go to ER but am I making more of this then it is?

I think you should go to the E.R. Whenever you feel like maybe you should seek medical help...you should seek medical help!!

My suspicion is you are anemic from all the bleeding. Which will make you short of breath weak dizzy and heart race. Personally given what you posted the other day I'd call your Gyn and update and asked for recommendations. If they did any labs the other day they may have an idea on the level of anemia you have. Make sure you are getting plenty of fluids.
Move slow from lying to sitting and sitting to standing that's when you are most at risk of being dizzy or passing out even.
Take care of your self.

Go to the ER. There could be many reasons and it is always better to be safe.
With blood loss there could be other side effects. Take care and please go.

Please go to the ER. If you are feeling that bad you need to get it checked out.
ETA: Don't drive or take the train yourself. Have someone take you or call the ambulance.

I went to the ER. Was admitted immediately and hooked up to an IV. Then left there for about 5 hours. Doctor cam spoke to me for 5 mins and told me excessive bleeding is normal for fibroids and what I am going through is normal and then walked away. Also told ex who came with me and got mad that the dizziness and weakness are also normal and that my body is not going to let me lose too much blood and it will balance itself out. Gave me depo provera a and sent me home. Still weak, pounding headaches, huge blood clots again today and last night I had non stop chills and cold sweats.
ETA: I am not at work again today and just feel exhausted like I got no sleep again. I truly hate this.

I am sorry you are going through this and please get some rest.
As far as the fibroids or any other health issue - losing blood and not feeling well is not good if you can't function normally.
Call your internist or gynecologist on Monday and make a follow up appointment ASAP. At the very least you are losing blood I would say that the would have to give you or suggest ways of not becoming anemic. I am hoping for a better solution for you.
Good luck! We are our best advocates and doctors are there to help and like anything they can vary - getting a second opinion can't hurt either.

God, ER doctors piss me off.
Call your FP or gynecologist Tuesday. Take it easy and drink lots of fluids.
ETA: unless you're not in US then call Monday. Most non emergency docs are closed tomorrow.

Yeah, go see your GYN ASAP. FWIT, I had fibroids, large ones, as well. And was trying to get pregnant, which ended up failing. So I went through these bleeding cycles for almost a year. Our friend, a coroner in the state of NY, told me that she had better looking corpses than I looked due to my blood loss. Get seen. And until then, stay flat with your feet slightly elevated if you can stand it, and drink lots of fluids. (((hugs)))

I would say show up at your Gyno's office if they don't give you some real answers first thing this morning. This is nonsense, and like PJ said that is the crappiest thing an ED doctor can do. They just want to get you out.
Did they check your labs, your blood levels? Being anemic can cause a whole myriad of other health issues from headaches and dizziness to heart attacks, so take this seriously even though he didn't.
Are you taking Iron? Eating red meat, and green leafy veggies (spinach, kale) ?
Fibroids can and do bleed to the point of needing a transfusion. That quack you saw needs a good swift kick to the jimmies.
My guess is you need that D&C pronto tonto.

Bleeding slowed with the depo it took 3 days though. I have an MRI today and a D&C tomorrow. Taking iron supplements and eating lots of steaks yum!

Make sure you get a lot of vitamin C. You need it to absorb the iron.
