What are your plans for this weekend? Are you having a cook out? What are you making?
And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

Bugger it all, we were going camping with friends, but Saturday morning FWH woke up sick. And I am BORED OUT OF MY MIND! The normal places/things to do on a free weekend are full of tourists. Unpacked all of our camping gear that I could today. Tomorrow, guess I'll be trying to knock off some stuff from the To Do List. Bleh!
Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

My daughter had a youth track meet Saturday. It rained until about an hour before, started raining immediately after and didn't really stop until about an hour ago. She's at her cousin's for the day. My husband worked last night and has to go back tonight. So, the boys and I are going to do some laundry and go to the grocery store. Maybe I'll throw some steaks on the grill for his breakfast and we can all have an early dinner with him. Then we can snack and watch movies after he leaves. Maybe.

DD & I volunteered at our friend's animal shelter. So much cuteness of all ages.
We vegged for part of the weekend. Yesterday, we went to the aquatic center/town water park with my sister and nephew. Hello, lazy river.
Somehow we ended up at Target 3 times in 24hrs.

I started my vacation in Las Vegas yesterday. Hugging and kissing my
3-month old grandson
Tomorrow I have to drive down to Phoenix to pick up Mom, bring her back to Vegas, then do it in reverse on Thursday. Not very relaxing, but I'm loving being with DS, DDIL and baby Hudson.
