How did my baby get to be old enough for a learner's permit???
He got his permit yesterday. This evening, he drove me to a little restaurant to get takeout for supper. He did really well. We had to drive past the spot of that horrible wreck he saw last fall. He was a little freaked but recovered well.
Mom, well, not so much. There is so much I don't have any control over. And it's scary.
The other kinda sad part for me is that this is yet another part of life that ds15 gets to experience but ds22 doesn't. He was asking me last night if I thought he'd ever get to get his permit.
It sucks. It really sucks.

Thanks jrc. It's just so weird. I'm happy and sad and scared all at the same time. I feel like Ron Weasley... "A person can't feel all that at once. They'd explode!"
