Germany, Australia, and sort of the US.

BH - lived in Germany during the 2002 cup

I - lived in Australia while finishing up grad school

And we are from the US

Although I must admit that I love watching Brazil play, they look like they are dancing.

It's been the best Cup Final in my lifetime. Pure beauty, the elegance, the sudden violence and the precision.........It's a beautiful game. USA fan. But IMHO it's Germany's to lose. They looked like they're back

DS has money (one penny exactly) on Argentina and my dad picked Brazil. Of course, the underdog USA team (although DS holds a grudge at the cut of Landon Donovan.) I have a friend from Columbia.

After watching so far, I think the Netherlands showed up to play.

My (perhaps rose colored) observation is that many of the players are playing a less dirty game. The tackles and the injuries have seemed on the whole accidental and I have seen apologies that I want to believe are genuine. Maybe because club play means these guys are teammates?

We've been cheering for Argentina since the very beginning. I'm not a fan of US sports, one of my favorite tennis players is from Argentina and we have our autographed flag in our front window.

Predictions.... hmmmmm.

I think the 3 to 1 prediction might be spot on.

Germany by far looks like a more solid team and Argentina is suffering the loss of Di Maria. The offense didn't look the same without him.

DS will be devastated if Messi goes home without the win, but I think it might happen.
