Ladies, you ask other questions you should never ask a man.
We are also told, that sometimes the women aren't looking to solve a problem by discussing it. They just have some primal need to talk about it and somehow they feel better even though he problem is still there.
But these are NOT invitations to discussion, no matter how sweetly an innocently you pose the question.
Do I look fat in these clothes? See above discussion
(Upon return from salon). Do you like my hair cut this way better? ( like there is a damn thing can be done about it now)
(Upon return from salon chapter 2). Do you like this color/ highlights better than it was before? ( no, so go spend another $100 plus and return it to its previous color
(Wife has hot younger sister). Do you think Missy is prettier than me? (See response regarding opportunity to study interior decor of divorce lawyers office)
Remember guys, we are lectured, taught, drilled that TOTAL honesty is absolutely necessary in a marriage. Our wives expect nothing less. Except when they don't want honesty.
And why do you ladies wonder why men find women baffling?

^ This is an interesting list. What are some other questions that a lady shouldn't ask her partner?
And, on the other side, what are some questions that a lady SHOULD ask her partner?

Apparently it's asking them what they are thinking about

Regarding men fashion sense: my hubby works in a conservative business industry and there is a dress code. Apparently, ladies aren't supposed to wear leggings. One female employee told him that another female employee was wearing them and it's his job as the boss to call her on it. He was baffled. He called me during the day and asked what leggings were. Pretty funny....
that said, he can have an opinion on what I wear. As a newly BS when my head wasn't screwed on straight he occasionally had to bring me back down to earth. I think I left the house looking like a hooker, a hobo, or a personal trainer on various days. And I'm a teacher. I'm much more professional now.
I don't ask him how I look in an outfit, I can see it in his face. I don't know how much i weigh. I have him look at the scale and tell me if I'm in the right ball park about once every two months... now that I wrote all this down I think we are quite strange.

Does he really find my 20 lbs heavier body attractive or is he just trying to be nice?
That really depends on him, but IMO that 20 lbs doesn't matter to most guys.
Why do men run away (sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally) from the question "Does this outfit make me look fat?"
Because it's a fucked up question to ask, knowing it's a cliche. It's almost on par with a guy asking why a girl doesn't like to date nice guys. It's either naive and sincere - which IMO is gonna be rare - or it's an iceberg tip for some seriously fucked up personal issues that are about to explode all over the place regardless of the answer.
"What do you think of these jeans?" is the one that invites honest commentary. Most honest replies would be "I couldn't care less except for how fast they can come off" though.

I have to ditto what butterfly girl said. Tell us what specifically you think is beautiful about us.
Another question...hope we aren't wearing you guys out, lol.
Okay, what is the deal about long hair? When I cut my hair H absolutely hated it. Whined constantly. Do most of you really prefer long hair. (I grew mine back just for him, but I really think I am too old for long hair).

As a women I get driven mad by the "do I look fat" questions from other women because if you answer yes then you are a jerk and trying to shame her for her size but if you answer no (even if its true) then you are lying. Someone asking that doesn't want a truthful answer. I usually ignore the question when my friends ask it (with the exception of one who really is seriously asking if its a good outfit or not)..
Question for the guys, WH and I was talking last night and he told me I intimidated most the men we know because I can kick their ass if needed (prior military, went through the police academy, spent my childhood being abused and I damn well made sure I could take care of myself if someone tried something again). So the question, are men really intimidated by a woman who can physically take care of herself?

Personal preference I suppose, but I've always loved long hair. Nothing sexier then a women with her up and exposing her neck. Also, long hair can be styled in different ways to give different looks.
what are some questions that a lady SHOULD ask her partner?
1) Do you prefer the red or black neglige?
2) Can we go to the ball game instead of the mall?
3) Would you like the remote tonight?
Really that simple!!
What are the most annoying things that women do?
Ask some question out of the blue (say, when watching tv or exercising) then get upset when we miss the question or even understand the context. I've told stbxww and DD15 to make sure they get my attention prior to starting off with a question. DS20 gets that!!!

What are the most annoying things that women do?
The absolute most annoying thing my ex did was the way she would turn a five minute interaction she had at work into a 45 minute story, complete with assumed motivations and thoughts of everyone involved and she would start talking about it the second I walked in the door from work. If you're going to do it, at least give me time to take off my shoes and open a beer.
Another really annoying thing was how she would be angry about something completely unrelated to me and take it out on me.

I definitely prefer long hair. It looks a lot better, it feels nice and it's just more feminine.

Add to that asking a question or making a statement from a part of the conversation 30 minutes ago. Nothing confuses me more then carrying on about something, say summer vacation plans, then she'll say, "at Target" in relation to a conversation where we picked up dishware. Jeepers, I can only concentrate on 1 conversation at a time!!

wow this topic blew up, i wont even try to answer the older questions
Does he really find my 20 lbs heavier body attractive or is he just trying to be nice?
There is a psychological phenomenon where men actually people actually picture there spouse as they looked when they fell in love. It is quite wild to consider actually. So 20lbs doesn't make a difference.
Why do men run away (sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally) from the question "Does this outfit make me look fat?"
I try to express what part of the outfit is not complimentary and give honest opinion. Because women ask does this make me look fat, but what they really mean is do I look good in this, and if not then why. So menz, we gotta answer the real question.
I have a question from menz to menz.
I have back problems, and when my back goes out i get a week worth of pill cocktail including. Pain killers, muscle relaxers, and steroids. This seems to be a potent aphrodisiac. Is this just me? Or does this happen to you too?

Depends on what kind of attention you are looking for. In my new discovery I prefer the whole "straight to the point"
ex. I have something I need to discuss, when can I have your attention.
ex2. I have thinking that I would like to have some "ADULT TIME" with you (or insert whatever term you use for sex)
There is always the action of my BS walking from the shower to closet. That one gets my attention pretty good!!
