((((JerseyCowGirl)))

I am so sorry. I understand. I've had those thoughts also as I am working on figuring out how to file bankruptcy. At one time, I had a beautiful home, new car, and $80K in the bank. He took that all from me.

It is harder to get a job at our age and it does seem like the system doesn't care about you once you hit a certain age. Have you looked into disability? If you are unable to get a job because of your condition, then they need to pay disability to you. I know it is a process and it takes a while....it would be a long term solution but in the short term, can you find a community action agency that may be able to help you?

Oh honey, I am so sorry for everything you are enduring.

Have you looked into disability? If you are unable to get a job because of your condition, then they need to pay disability to you. I know it is a process and it takes a while....it would be a long term solution but in the short term, can you find a community action agency that may be able to help you?

I was going to suggest the same.

Also, sweetie, you do not have to disclose your medical condition when applying for employment. Just like parents who do not have to disclose that they have children (nor is a potential employer supposed to ask)...just putting that out there. But I'm leaning more toward you applying for SSDI, because it sounds like your disability may hinder your ability to work...

Big hugs...keep posting...we care and will do everything we can to help.

Hugs!
