I just wanted to stop by and welcome myself to the thread I have had to force myself to stay away from!!!
I have FINALLY binged watched enough this week to catch up to regular schedule and will now have to wait weekly for the show.
When I watched the first few episodes I thought 'meh' but then I started hating Shane enough to want to see him dead......now I'm hooked!
Love, Love, Love Carol!

I can't wait until February when the show starts up again.
No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

You'll have to get used to it. They do this every season. Drives me crazy

Agreed, truly a great episode...however, they left me hanging during the whole break with the kid saying "Mom, Mom, Mom" and then it was pretty much ignored. Then I was saying "OMG!" so I kinda let that go.
Everyone at work and my gym is planning on watching it tonight so I was left saying "there are zombies and people die". So unsatisfying!

Totally agree.
Also, did Darryl HAVE to waste a grenade to light the lake up? I mean really? a match wouldn't work?

The noise was necessary to attract the zombies to the lake.
I have to say I was glad to see Michonne take out porchdick jr.

It just occurred to me that the whole monologue from the motorcycle guy about eating shit was probably written by a BS.

I thought it kind of sucked the last thing Sam thought of was Carol's threat to leave him to be eaten by walkers. Sort of makes her inadvertently responsible for what followed. Not that anyone will ever know.
And really kid? You're in the middle of a herd of walkers, your mother and brother have just become zombie chow, and you decide that's the best time to act out on your "that's MY girl!" teen angst? At least Michonne didn't put her katana through his head so he'll end up turning.

Not sure how I feel about it. I was never one to root for that relationship. Doesn't seem like Rick's usual "type" (damsel in distress).
Already anticipating next Sunday.

My son hates the idea of them together. He thinks they just don't mesh. For me, I'm so glad it's not another damsel in distress. In this world, you need somebody who'll have your back, not drag you down.
