I love how they keep coming up with new ways to kill zombies!

I didn't make it far enough in the comics to know anything about Erin. I think I have a bit of catching up to do hehe.

I hear a lot of 'omg so slow' talk about the last episode, but I think people really missed the mark on just why this episode was needed.

I thought this last episode was great -- seeing how each person will "fit in" in Alexandria, seeing how the residents respond to the newcomers, etc.
I LOVE how Carol is playing her new role -- she'll probably get all sorts of good gossip to pass along.
Love Darryl gutting his "we brought dinner" possum on the front porch of their new swanky "curb appeal" house.
Really looking forward to seeing more of this whole story arc.

How would you like to be that kid Carol threatened last night?

Carol would not be my first choice for a babysitter at this point. I kept expecting her to say "turn around and look at the pretty flowers"

Kinda reminded me of my childhood and how I ended up on SI.
What?! I can at least laugh about it now. One must have a sense of humor about these things.
Seriously though Carol is total wolf in sheeps clothing.
Anybody else pick up on the irony? That they (Rick and co) say that they have to protect themselves from those type of people when they themsleves have become those type of people. And by type I'm assuming they mean dangerous.

That finale had me on edge. Rick is acting more and more like the Governor. So glad Morgan is back.

I'm glad to see Morgan finally caught up with them. He has some serious bo staff skills!

SPOILERS AHEAD - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE FINALE!
So much awesomeness! And a few WTF???
First of all Morgan has mad fighting skills. And he seems to try and give people every possible opportunity to walk away. But, that leads to a WTF? Leaving those “wolves” alive is going to come back and hurt them. Rick knows this – he knows for certain that if you let the bad people live, they will come after you and hurt your family.
Second – Carol was full of awesomeness. Not only her speech to Pete which was so satisfying, but when she called Rick “Sunshine,” I laughed out loud! That little smile that she gives everyone to make them think she’s not a threat, how can they not see how fake that is???? Rick and company saved her? More like she rescued them by blowing up Terminus.
I was very disappointed in Daryl. He’s a tracker. He’s been surviving in this world by his own wits sometimes, and he didn’t notice the cans hanging from those trucks? I KNEW for sure that it was a trap and I just don’t buy that he couldn’t see that. Stupid.
Glen should have shot Nicholas in the head when he had a chance. How many times does the guy get to kill or almost kill people (by accident and now on purpose) before someone takes him out? Big mistake – HUGE!
I just don’t know what to think about Father Gabriel. Will this be a turning point for him? Maybe he can redeem himself, but I’m not sure how. And Sasha is in REAL trouble. Laying down on those dead walkers was very creepy.
I was so happy Michoene talked to Rick and told him she’s always on his side. I was worried, but that sealed the deal for me. And putting that sword back on – I almost cheered!

My son and I were discussing that. Where did it suddenly come from? Reminded me of David Carradine in Kung Fu. lol

I thought the threads showed that all of the group retained their humanity in the face of clearly "justified" killings. Even Michonne's choice to "trust" Rick with the secret weapon is a refusal to claim power. I really thought this finale was a reclaiming of humanity for the group that had clearly been flirting with giving it up. Admittedly! In the face of great stressors and plenty of crowd urging for the lower road.

Loved the finale -- every story line going on was just awesome!
Can't wait to see next season! And thank heavens for Fear the Walking Dead to tide us over till October
Smart timing!
On another forum, folks pointed out that in most zombie movies/shows, the really cool creepy part is in the beginning when we know it's a Zombie movie/show, but the characters we're watching don't have a clue WTF is going on. So setting the new series back when things first start happening has such great potential.
And, yes, I agree about how frustrating it was that didn't Daryl see that walker ambush set up. If I noticed those cans hanging there, surely a super-tracker should have. But, he also stupidly opened the front door without looking first and let Beth get taken back in season 4. Apparently he is a super-tracker until he stops paying attention for some reason.
Am also looking forward to the back story of how Morgan went from looney-tunes in Clear to master Jedi. That should be fun to find out. Too bad he let those two 'wolves' go -- it will come back to bite, esp now that they have found Aaron's backpack with the photos of Alexandria...
Love this show!
