I never liked that saying. I already had a life.

I gave my WH an article to read on Colin Firth and him being a BS last night.

Me and my WH always had an agreed hall pass, myself with Colin Firth if I ever bump into him and WH with Penelope Cruz. It was a joke obviously (or was it?). And by no means did my WH f..ck Penelope Cruz, more like Yeti.

Last night I got into bed and asked my WH “so, do you think that now I have a chance with Mr Darcy? We could offer each other comfort you know”...

So if he does open a thread here can somebody give me a shout please? I’m willing to take one for the team and hand hold him all the way...

Who could cheat on him?

I'm not hot for him, I just think he MUST be as cool personality wise as his movies...no one is that good an actor.

My WS works in the movies. He says most actors are a bit odd, different than regular folks. They need to be to do what they do. Big stars are often more removed from the reality of day to day life as we know it. They are surrounded by people who will say yes to almost anything. Basically they're in a bubble much of the time. They get peculiar tastes and whatever they want it's fine. Lots of stars are super fussy about food, clothing, who speaks to them. Ridiculous isn't it ?

People in film often work away on location weeks, months at a time.

Even so, I'm sad their lives have to be exposed so much. Maybe if we stopped buying the magazines or watching so much tv it would stop. And I think actors shouldn't get the silly fawning treatment that they do. They are just people after all.

Thank you everyone for your wisdom and healing.
