if you had a pet dog that really loved going on walks but got cold easy, what would you do?

Oh that's easy.

I'd put on my mini skirt, six inch heels and the tightest top I could then put the dog in a parka and go for a walk. Lol. Knowing my luck I'd trip in the heels and end up ass over tea kettle landing in the dog crap lol

coco:

Hopeful, the FOO issues or whatever else might be going on with your niece is what I eluded to in my response to zugzwang. Maybe someone needs to talk to the niece about what she's thinking and feeling. Why does she dress that way? I can tell you why I dressed that way when I was younger, and it wasn't good. She needs guidance, maybe, rather than judgment and disgust.

My cheating husband came from that family. They don't talk. His sister and mother haven't spoken in 3 years over parenting disagreements where his mother overstepped good parenting values to get his niece to be her personal slave by buying her through "acts of service". I wish they would talk. I have tried to get them to talk.

Ah, hopeful, that makes it tricky for you. Could you befriend her?

I don't mind if a man (or woman) looks at me, smiles, and/or says hi. I don't assume they are thinking about hitting on me. I walk around with a smile on face. I try to look people in the eye when I pass them, with a smile. Sometimes I get a smile and even a, "how are you?". I appreciate that. I think we need more smiling, friendly people around here.

RIO, thanks for explaining the ways of the world to me. I would've never known that criminals do that sort of thing. I can almost guarantee you that no robber is going to walk in my door. When people knock and my dog barks, those people shut the glass door and step back off my steps and onto the sidewalk. If anyone did walk in, they wouldn't get very far. Then, there's also the gun and the US Marine who lives in my house. So, I think I'm covered. Ya know, the only time I've ever been robbed was when my doors and windows were locked.
