I don't recall all the backstory, but I do recall an earlier thread in which FD basically said that his role in the demise of his AP's M was a nothingburger (technical term). IIRC, that thread went on for several pages.
The tone in this thread reminded me of the tone in that earlier one. A tone/words that led a lot of folks (including several WS) to question the extent of continued wayward thinking.
It certainly could be a stylistic thing in that the way posts are worded can raise red flags (among WS and BS).
And FWIW, I think DIFM raises some good points...

I do not recall that thread, everything I have read from him takes accountability and I have seen him give others good advice. My intention in stating what I did wasn't a slam to anyone's advice, but more to explain to him why he was getting the feedback he was. If didn't know him as a poster I would see it the way others did, that was really the point I was trying to make.

Yeah and sometimes I am not as succinct as I could be. I really was just trying to help coach him on how he could be understood better.
